This is the official website for Bonnie Jackson, candidate for Florida House District 42, where you can learn more about her campaign, her qualifications, her experience, and where you can make donations to support her campaign.

A successful attorney for three decades, Bonnie began her career as a prosecutor in Houston, Texas before moving to Florida and entering private practice. During her career, she has been involved in various complex litigation matters, as well as fighting for consumers and victims of fraud. She worked for both national and boutique firms before founding The Jackson Law Firm, P.A. d/b/a Jackson Law International with her husband, Michael. Today, their international law practice has offices in Florida, California, and Germany.

Bonnie is a principled community leader, local business owner, and longtime Orange County resident. For nearly 30 years, Bonnie has called our community home—raising a family, building a successful business, and watching the area grow. Now she’s running for Florida House District 42 to bring her leadership, legal expertise, and business experience to Tallahassee. With a focus on transparency, Bonnie is committed to ensuring that taxpayers are protected and Orange County families have a voice and effective advocate in our State Capitol.

Bonnie’s extensive record of service includes her appointments to public advisory boards for the City of Winter Park, including the Parks & Recreation Board and the Tree Preservation Board. She also served on the Board of Directors for UCP Child Development Centers. Bonnie was also recognized by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County for her dedication to volunteer service as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children, and she earned the Florida Bar’s Meritorious Public Service Award for her volunteer work on the Bar’s Grievance Committee.

Bonnie and Michael live in Winter Park, Florida where they raised their three children. Over the years, their children attended Dommerich Elementary, Maitland Middle, Winter Park High School, St. Margaret Mary, and Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Their family continues to grow as they welcomed a wonderful son-in-law last year and a new engagement this year. Bonnie attends St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and has served as a Sunday preschool teacher and in various ministries. She is fluent in Spanish and remains committed to giving back to her community.
As a homeowner in Winter Park, elected leadership matters to me. We can use Bonnie's skill as a lawyer and all of the practical experience she has gained by raising her family and practicing law right here in this district. As a volunteer, she has served on boards in Winter Park and even done the hard work as a guardian for abused and neglected children. Bonnie has proved she has a heart for service. She's my candidate for the 42.
I have known Bonnie for years and know her to be first and foremost a person of integrity, ALWAYS doing the right thing. She is the perfect candidate to represent our district in Tallahassee!
I have lived in Central Florida for over 52 years and have seen the many changes that our community has been challenged with and all the political changes that have made our community worse and not better. I know that she will work towards making our community great again!
