A successful attorney for three decades, Bonnie began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston, Texas, before moving to Florida and entering private practice. She worked for both national and boutique firms before founding The Jackson Law Firm, P.A. with her husband, Michael. Today, their international law practice has offices in Florida, California, and Germany, representing individuals and businesses in complex litigation matters.

 Bonnie Jackson is a principled community leader, local business owner, and longtime Orange County resident. For nearly 30 years, Bonnie has called our community home—raising a family, building a successful business, and watching the area grow and evolve. Now she’s running for the Florida House of Representatives to bring her leadership, legal expertise, and business experience to Tallahassee, ensuring Orange County families have a strong, effective voice in our State Capitol.  

  Bonnie’s record of service includes appointments to the City of Winter Park’s Parks & Recreation Board and Tree Preservation Board, as well as the Board of Directors for UCP Child Development Centers. She earned the Florida Bar’s Meritorious Public Service Award for her volunteer work on the Bar’s Grievance Committee and was recognized by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County for her service as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children.    

Bonnie and Michael live in Winter Park, where they raised their three children and are proud to welcome a wonderful son-in-law into their family.  

Bonnie attends St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and has served as a Sunday preschool teacher and in various ministries. She is fluent in Spanish and remains committed to giving back to her community through professional and volunteer service.
